Android Developer Communities
19th August 2010
There are a rising number of sites to reach out to for the latest news and peer interaction for the smart phone application developers. There are some differences between the conversations with the iphone developers and the Android developers mainly because the platform they are working with is different.
The software is very different so naturally the forums will be as well. One can go to sites like xdadevelopers for information on everything to do with android phones and other windows based mobile phones. These kinds of sites are great for the users and the creators of these smart phones.
There are always general discussion areas with a broad range of related topics and then the sites move into more specific focused topics. Focused topics on a windows based site would feature windows related conversations and then the different phone models will be featured. Each smart phone has its own functions and features so they deserve their own conversation.
This has become the new way of getting help with a device in todays world. It is easier to just jump on a forum and search out the answers than it would be to wait for a tech on a call. It is also free help service for companies. They don’t have to hire people to teach others how to use their products. Pretty great.
