Portland and Lindsey
27th July 2010
The city of Portland is one of the treasures of the great Northwest. It’s not the biggest city, but does have a special place in many hearts for being the most charming. For many travelers, it’s a bit of a hidden gem, with all the great things about a strong urban center, but small enough to be manageable. It’s still large enough to get lost in, and many people do wind up moving here, in order to find a quieter place to do their work. It’s also a great place to unwind, where the top Portland hotels are a gateway to a magical city.
Some people get their beginning here, and in the case of Lindsey Wagner , this was the place to spend her formative years. High school and college were years spent in Portland, and it gave her a beginning into what would turn into a brilliant career. Her work on the Bionic Woman is still inspiring to young women everywhere, and no one who grew up in the 70s and 80s in the U.S. can forget how her role in this series helped to shape realities and possibilities.
Today, her work is more in writing and in healing workshops than acting, showing another path, and another direction, in the realm of limitless possibilities.
